Professor Robert King

Robert King is an adjunct professor in the School of Psychology and Counselling at Queensland University of Technology. He is a clinical psychologist and Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society.
He has had a distinguished career as a practitioner, researcher and teacher in the field of mental health and is internationally recognised for his expertise. He is the author of four books and more than 100 peer reviewed articles. He has provided keynote addresses, lectured and conducted training activities in Australia, the US, the UK, Europe and Asia and has consulted to Australian and international governments and NGOs. He is an editor of two international journals and a member of Australian and international research advisory panels.
Professor King also has expertise in social security law and is a part time member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. He is a Board Member of Richmond Fellowship Queensland and a Life Member of Stepping Stone Clubhouse
